Make LAN.events Your Own with Themes

We're excited to introduce themes on LAN.events! Now you can customize how the platform looks and feels to match your style and preferences.

Two Themes, Four Ways to Use Them

We've built two distinct themes, each available in light and dark mode:

Neutral Theme

Our default Neutral theme gives you a clean, professional look that works great for any type of event. Perfect if you prefer a modern, straightforward interface.

  • Light Mode: Bright and easy to read during the day
  • Dark Mode: Comfortable for evening browsing with a dark background

Retro Theme

The Retro theme brings warm, nostalgic vibes perfect for gaming events. With warm amber and orange tones, it's designed to feel like classic LAN party memories.

  • Light Mode: Creamy backgrounds with warm accents
  • Dark Mode: Rich dark tones with vibrant orange highlights

How to Change Your Theme

It's simple:

  1. Look for the palette icon in the top navigation bar
  2. Click it to open the theme menu
  3. Choose your theme: Neutral or Retro
  4. Choose your mode: Light or Dark

We Remember Your Choice

Your theme preference is automatically saved. When you come back to LAN.events, it'll look exactly how you left it!

Why Use Themes?

Themes aren't just about looks. They help you work more comfortably:

  • Easier on Your Eyes: Switch to dark mode when you're working late or in low light
  • Match Your Event Style: Use Retro for gaming events, or stick with Neutral for a professional look
  • Make It Yours: Choose colors that feel right for you

Everything Changes

When you pick a theme, it applies to the entire platform:

  • All pages and navigation
  • Event listings and details
  • Forms and buttons
  • Everything you see and interact with

Try It Out

Ready to see the difference? Click the palette icon in the header and try switching between themes. You'll see the entire platform transform instantly!

Pro Tip

Try viewing an event page with different themes to see how they change the feel. The Retro theme is especially fun for gaming events!
