Managing Your Tickets

This guide explains how to view, use, and manage your event tickets as an attendee.

Viewing Your Tickets

  1. Click "My Tickets" in the navigation bar
  2. You'll see all your tickets organized by:
    • Upcoming Events: Events you're registered for that haven't happened yet
    • Past Events: Events you've already attended

Ticket Details

Click on any ticket to see:

  • Event Information: Name, date, time, location
  • Seat Assignment: Your assigned seat number (if applicable)
  • Ticket Status: Payment status and check-in status
  • QR Code: For paid tickets, a QR code for event check-in

Using Your QR Code

For Check-In

  1. Open your ticket from "My Tickets"
  2. Scroll to the "Check-In QR Code" section
  3. Show the QR code on your phone screen at the event entrance
  4. Or click "Download QR Code" to print it

QR Code Tips

  • QR codes are only available for paid tickets
  • Make sure your phone screen brightness is up when showing the code
  • Printed QR codes work just as well as digital ones
  • Keep your ticket accessible - you may need it multiple times during the event

Transferring Tickets

If you can't attend an event, you can transfer your ticket to someone else:

Ticket Transfer Process

Select Ticket

Go to "My Tickets" and click on the ticket you want to transfer

Initiate Transfer

Click "Transfer Ticket" button on the ticket details page

Enter Recipient

Enter the recipient's email address or username

Review & Confirm

Review the transfer details and confirm the transfer

Transfer Complete

Both parties receive notification and ticket ownership transfers

Important Notes About Transfers

Irreversible Action

  • Transfers are irreversible once confirmed - make sure you want to transfer before confirming
  • The recipient must have a LAN.events account (or will be prompted to create one)
  • Payment for transferred tickets is handled outside the platform between you and the recipient
  • Both you and the recipient will receive a notification when the transfer completes

Check-In Status

After an event, you can see if you were checked in:

  • Checked In: Green badge with the check-in timestamp
  • Not Checked In: No badge (if you weren't checked in)

If you believe there's an error with your check-in status, contact the event organizer.

Troubleshooting

Can't Find My Ticket

  • Make sure you're signed in to the correct account
  • Check "Past Events" if the event has already happened
  • Contact support if you believe a ticket is missing

QR Code Not Showing

  • QR codes are only available for paid tickets
  • Try refreshing the page
  • Make sure your ticket status shows as "paid"
  • Contact the event organizer if issues persist

Transfer Issues

  • Make sure you're entering the correct email or username
  • The recipient must accept the transfer
  • Check that transfers are allowed for this event
  • Contact support if you encounter errors
